Abstract— This research article explores how the Internet influences the way we handle our emotions as we grow up. As the Internet becomes a bigger part of our lives, it’s important to understand how it impacts our emotional well-being. The researcher will explore how the Internet lets us connect with others, express ourselves, and learn new things. Researcher is curious about how talking to people online helps us become more understanding and better at dealing with our emotions. The researcher will also look into whether the Internet brings new challenges that make it harder for individuals to grow emotionally, challenges, like cyberbullying and comparing ourselves to others online, to see how they affect our ability to bounce back from tough situations and understand ourselves better. In addressing the role of internet, the term paper investigates whether the internet foster emotional maturity or introduces new challenges hindering emotional growth. The term paper will consider the concept of internet and emotional maturity, characteristics of an emotionally mature individual, positive and negative influences of internet on emotional maturity and suggestions for better use of internet to foster emotional maturity, aiming to provide insights relevant to parents, teachers, mental health professionals, and policymakers navigating the evolving landscape of emotional maturity in the digital era.
